CALL FOR KIMBERLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MEMBERS - January 2025

In accordance with the Library Act, the City of Kimberley is inviting applications for one member on the Kimberley Public Library Board. Membership will be for a one or two year term, commencing January 2025.

To be eligible, you must be a resident or elector of the City of Kimberley. Members of the Kimberley City Council, employees of the City of Kimberley and employees of the existing Library Board are not eligible.

How to apply:

Please submit a volunteer application highlighting your relevant qualifications and experience to the Corporate Officer at MLeroux@kimberley.ca or to City Hall at 340 Spokane Street, Kimberley, BC, V1A 2E8. The library is a great place to browse the latest book offerings, take in engaging programs with the kids, use the free public computers, or relax with a magazine in the bright, comfortable, upstairs reading room. You can even catch a breath of fresh air and enjoy the downtown view at the unique sculpted tables outside the front door. And if you’re looking for information, talk to a librarian – they are information superheroes!

Mondays - Closed

Tuesday - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday -10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Thursday -12:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Friday - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Saturday - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Sunday - Closed

Closed for Statutory holidays.
