Better at Home Program Seeking Multiple Volunteers
Better at Home programs support low or modest-income seniors with simple, day-to-day tasks that allow them to live independently and remain connected to their communities. Here's a list of volunteer opportunities in Kimberley:

Board of Directors — 2026 Nominations Now Open
We are now accepting nominations for individuals interested in joining the Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2026. This is an opportunity to help shape the direction of the Chamber and play an active role in supporting and advocating for our local business community.

Special Member & Nominee Meeting — February 2, 2026
We will be hosting a special meeting on February 2, 2026, open to:
All nominated individuals, and
Any Chamber members who wish to attend and learn more.
This meeting will provide an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and better understand the role and expectations of serving on the Board.
This meeting will take place Monday February 2nd from 6-8pm at The Kimberley Public Library (upstairs). If you could please register for the event as space is limited.

Kimberley Nature Park Society Seeking Board Members and Volunteers
Are you passionate about nature, conservation, and the future of Kimberley’s outdoor spaces? The Kimberley Nature Park Society is seeking engaged community members to join our Board of Directors and help guide the stewardship of the largest municipal park in British Columbia.
As a board member, you’ll help shape strategic direction, support conservation and education initiatives, and contribute to the long-term protection of wildlife habitat and trails. Prior board experience is not required—just a willingness to contribute your skills, perspective, and enthusiasm. We meet monthly, with flexible participation options.
Have some time but don’t want to join the board? Volunteering for specific initiatives is another great option. We have many different projects that can use an extra set of hands.
