The Kimberley Trails Society is a passionate group, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the stunning trails of Kimberley, ensuring they remain accessible and sustainable for generations to come. Whether you're a hiker, a runner, a mountain biker, or simply someone who appreciates the great outdoors, joining us means becoming part of a community committed to conservation and outdoor enjoyment. Better at Home Program Seeking Multiple Volunteers

Better at Home programs support low or modest-income seniors with simple, day-to-day tasks that allow them to live independently and remain connected to their communities. Here's a list of volunteer opportunities in Kimberley:

  • Minor Home Repairs
  • Transportation Support
  • Friendly Visit
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Local Reference Group Member

Kimberley Nordic Club - Coaches Wanted

The Kimberley Nordic Club is recruiting Volunteer COaches for youth programming. 

Jackrabbits: Ages 4-9, Sundays at 1:00 pm, and/or Tuesdays at 4:30 pm

Track Attach: Ages 9-11, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at 4:30

Adventure Ski: Ages 12-18, Tuesdays at 4:30 - 6:00 pm

Biathlon: Ages 9-18, Saturdays at 11:30 - 1:00 and/or 1:15 - 2:45

Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook

1. Kimberley Farmers' Market

Every Thursday from June 19 - September 18. 

Shifts are 1-1.5hrs each and training is provided on site.

Click on JUNE and/or JULY to sign up for specific tasks which include:

- Putting up "No Parking" signs (evening before)
- Market set up (3:30-4:45pm)
- Market take down (7:30-8:30pm)
- Photography (5-6:30pm)

2. Outreach at the Cranbrook Farmers' Market

Join our Program Assistant at the Outreach tent. We have interactive activities, program information, and sellable items to help fundraise for our branch.

Shift is 1 hour and training materials are provided in advance and on site.

3. Kimberley Community Garden Drop In's (Rotary Drive behind the Aquatic Centre)

Join our Food Program Coordinator, to help transform and maintain the garden! No gardening experience is necessary, just an openness and willingness to learn.

Stop in during the below listed times - for as long as you are willing.

Tuesdays July 1, 8, 22, 29 8-11:30am

Thursdays July 10, 24, 31 8-11:30am
