Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification

Swim Instructor Course - July 30th & 31st + August 6th, 7th & 8th

Cost: $598.50

The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course trains candidates on the competency level 1 knowledge skills and attitudes needed to teach the Society's Swim for Life and Canadian Swim patrol programs.

PREREQUISITES:
- Must be 15 years or older and have completed Bronze Cross( need not be current)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Candidates must present proof of age & pre-requisites on first day.
- Candidates must attend all course dates and times.
- Candidates will be required to complete 8 to 10 hours co-teaching swimming lessons.
- Course manuals & taxes are included in fees.
- Professional swim wear required. Females: a one-piece bathing suit; Men: Swim trunks.
- Pocket mask & whistle also required.

National Lifeguard Pool Course - July 8th - 11th AND 15th - 18th

8:00 am - 2:00 pm

PREREQUISITES:
• Must be 15 years old
• Have Bronze Cross (need not be current)
• Standard First Aid/CPR/AED from recognized agency (need not be current)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
• Must present proof of age, Bronze Cross and SFA or AEC certificates on first day of class
• Pocket Mask ($26.25 includes tax) and whistle required
• Must have current ALERT Manual
• Candidates must attend all dates & times
• Professional swim wear must be worn. Females: a one-piece bathing suit; Males: swim trunks
