Kimberley Council Sets Strategic Priorities for Term
Kimberley City Council has released its 2023-2026 Corporate Strategic Plan. The strategic priorities detailed in the plan will guide decision-making for the remainder of their term. The priorities were carefully selected during a series of planning meetings and are aimed at addressing key areas of community development. They reflect Council’s commitment to fostering a resilient and sustainable future for Kimberley.
The Strategic Plan is built on six forward-thinking priorities to help shape the future of the City. They are: Infrastructure Renewal, Financial Accountability, Environmental Stewardship, Inclusivity and Civility, Economic Resiliency, and Risk Management.
Mayor McCormick is happy with the strategic direction of the new Council, stating, “These priorities represent a roadmap that captures our residents’ views for Kimberley’s future. During the next three years, we look forward to achieving the goals outlined, which are integral to our evolution as a prosperous and sustainable community.”
