Snow Removal After Recent Snowfall
We have had about 25cm of snow in the last few days and it is still snowing! We appreciate your patience as our crews work to clear roadways. This takes time. We want to remind everyone that any snow windrows left behind after plowing operations are the responsibility of the property owner to remove.
Other important reminders:
❄ The City uses boulevards for snow storage during the winter. These areas must remain accessible to City crews.
❄ Snow from boulevards should not be placed back on the street. Please refer to Section 507 of the City of Kimberley Streets and Traffic Bylaw No. 1877 for more information.
❄ All sidewalks adjacent to residents and businesses are the responsibility of the property owner as per Section 506.1 of the City of Kimberley Streets and Traffic Bylaw No. 1877.
❄ Park off the street whenever possible and be aware of the seasonal parking restrictions throughout town in order to help the crews clear the streets in the most efficient manner.
